In 2013 the prime Port Producers contributed their prime grapes to produce an astonishing new Port that has never been produced before.

Furthermore this Port was trodden in the Niepoort-lagar by one VIP of each House.

A large amount of the profit from this project will be donated to Bagos d'Ouro, a charity organisation, that supports underprivileged children and youngsters in the Douro Valley.

The O-PORT-UNIDADE Project is organized by World of Port and kindly co-organized by Niepoort.

The name O-PORT-UNIDADE should express the unity of the Port Producers to manufacture a special Port and the opportunity to do something for charity in the Douro Valley.
